gains, alterations, spinning galore

So my weigh in for the challenge today was 151.6 that's a .8 gain BOOOOOOOOO!

This gain especially saddens me because at the beginning of the week Tuesday to be exact I saw my weight for the first time EVER in my life began with a 14  ..I was so thrilled and jazzed that I was courageous enough to try spinning..I hated and loved it all at once loved it even more that it showed I had burned 750 calories in an hour!

BIGGEST NSV that happened during Spinning class.. Instructor: Hey I haven't seen you before is this the first time you have come to my class ME: Yep this is my first time Instructor: You mean in my class?? ME no ever my first spin class ever Instructor: WOW really? you did really great!  I about almost DIED with happiness..

So now that I am going to the gym I need new clothes, I was able to purchase a medium in workout pants and I went to the outlets today and the most expensive thing I bought was on a workout top!

I also found an amazing Tailor! This women is great and is helping take in suits and pants so I don't have to go buy all new stuff.. Here is a picture I snapped hemming my new Paige jeans!
This week I am going back to spin on Tuesday, I will go to 4 classes at the gym this week. And I will like I always track calories and try to stay around 1,000 to 1,100 and high protein
And I am going to try and stop ordering mudslides  (it was so yummy though!)

  5. wahoo-what a great NSV :)...Keep up the spin. I think the scale sometimes takes a while to get over the shock of a new exercise regime. It will probably come off even better next week.

  6. Maybe a mudslide would help my hangover. Great idea, thank you.

Maybe keep the 14X's? Wow, you little cycle queen!

  11. You look so great! I am super jealous. I can't believe you only eat 1000-1100 calories a day. That seems so little. But that's why you look so excellent! I need to start doing the same. I always tend to eat 1200-1300 calories a day. I think I need to shave a little off of that and see where it leads!

    Mudslides are fantastic!

  14. You continue to look awesome Nicole and I wouldn't worry about the small gain. I love spinning also and I think a big part of why I love it is because I burn anywhere from 650-750 calories doing it! When I do other classes, I burn 400-500 so I feel like i am getting more for my money with spin! I even invested in the shoes and everything...it made a big difference!

To answer your question on my blog, I would not go back to that Sandals but I wouldn't rule out others.

  15. I just inherited 3 new pairs of jeans in long length. I'm too cheap to take em to a tailor but my own hems look like, well, I was too cheap to go to a tailor. Rethinking now.

OMG...spinning! Your little teeny scale bounce was probably water retention from your muscles healing themselves. No sweat. Keep at it kiddo.

  16. Way to go on spinning and getting a tailor! I'll have to tailor my most expensive stuff as well!
